Reflective: Just close your eyes and try to think it over... Date: June 4, 2001, night Characters: Teagan Location: her flat Public/Private: Private Summary: Teagan stays in during the full moon. Status: Complete
True to her word, Teagan now always stayed in during the full moon. She wasn't really afraid, to be honest, about what could be lurking in the shadows, but she had told him that she wouldn't go out, so she wasn't. It wasn't like she didn't like being at home anyway. Curled up on the sofa and watching crappy television was nice every once in awhile. She moved from the couch, flipping off the television when it began to suck worse than before, and went to her bedroom with a book. It was a crappy book, but it was a book to get her mind off things. These days, during the full moon, her mind went directly to one thing and she couldn't help it.
She had no idea what it was really like to be a werewolf. She had no idea what John went through each month and she'd never asked. She was never going to ask. John seemed rather secretive about it most of the time. He was good with admitting it, but actually talking about it was another thing all together. She'd only admit to herself that she was curious about it. She wanted to understand John, to even understand what he went through. She had to admit that there was something nagging at her right now. The last two months, after the full moon, she'd went over to his place the next day. He'd been sick and achy, and she'd tried to help him. She hadn't heard anything from him in weeks. She wasn't sure what to make of that. It wasn't like they were on constant contact or anything like that, but they normally kept in contact with each other. When he'd said he'd wanted her to come over every month the day after the full moon, she'd probably foolishly believed him.
She wasn't sure if she did now. Maybe John was busy? What if he'd assumed that she was just going over? That wasn't their deal. He asked to her see her visa versa. Neither took liberties on each other's time. She'd wait for his call or get off her butt and call him. Right now, she wasn't worried. She was just a bit discerned that he was going to be at home all night tomorrow without anyone. He was sick and achy that day, making Teagan want to comfort him in some way. No one liked feeling that way, including John even if he tried to be a big, touch guy about it all.
Curling up in her bed, she sighed and decided to read some before she went to sleep.
