Cormac looked between the two blonds for a moment as Lavender excused Truth from the room. By both reactions, he was sure he was going to get yelled at. Was it so wrong he didn't like the idea of anyone - husband or not, Lestrange or not - trying to rape Lavender? After all the shit that's gone on, shouldn't it be obvious that he wouldn't take this news lightly?
Turning back to settle his eyes on Lavender when she addressed him again, he frowned. He wasn't angry at her. But still, he didn't like being snapped at or glared at - for caring. "Mr. Pepper didn't try to rape you," he retorted scathingly, glaring at her in return. "If it was Lestrange's body, it was Lestrange. He should have cared enough to overpower it or whatever. Almost raping you, tried to rape you, is not a valid option."
