Teagan nodded with a small frown. "Yeah, I sort of blurted it out and told him. Unfortunately. But not every guy knows what to expect when it comes to that anyway," she pointed out, "And quite honestly, John doesn't seem like the type who goes around just screwing virgins for the hell of it." She gave a little laugh at Thalia saying he'd be an idiot. "Well, it is John we're talking about."
"If I sleep with John more than once, won't that turn into some kind of relationship and complicate things farther? Or are you suggesting I go out and find random guys to have sex with before I sleep with John so I won't be a virgin any longer?" she asked, genuinely curious. The idea of going out and finding random guys didn't appeal to Teagan personally. She made no judgements on other people who slept around and casually, but it wasn't something she ever found interesting. She liked to trust the other person, in her mind. She wanted to truly want them and trust them not to use it against her. If she was going to expose herself by having sex with someone, she wanted it to be mean more than one night even if it was just for one night. She wanted to be able to talk to the other person, to feel safe with them, and even if they weren't in love with her, to feel they did feel something other than lust toward her. Never of her former boyfriends have made her feel that way.
