Astoria couldn't help but laugh at that. She wasn't impressed by the cocky smile although she didn't find him any more arrogant than most men. It was just so predictable. "If I recall, you're the one who spoke to me first," she told him. Astoria knew it would be easy for the conversation to go in a completely different direction than she wanted -- she'd noticed the flirtation behind some of his comments -- but she would never go there. She considered herself more tolerant that the majority of the wizarding population but there were simply some lines one did not cross and Astoria was a big believer in them. She enjoyed breaking rules but she also felt completely bound to tradition.
