Evan nodded, glancing beyond Astoria for a moment. He really was through with his part of their conversation. He wasn't going to argue with her here on the street. Despite himself, he knew better than to bring attention to his views in the open like this. It occurred to him for only a moment that she could actually be a witch, but he pushed away the thought since she hadn't acted superior, bitchy, deception, or abnormal yet.
"I'm sure you could have picked a worse person to strike up a random conversation with on the street," he said with a cocky smile. He was so sure of himself, of w ho he was, even of his looks. He had enough women in his past to prove that he wasn't lacking in looks and he could hold a conversation normally.
