Evan nodded. Thinking for a moment at what her shrug could mean. He had no idea. She was a stranger after all, making it hard to really read her in anyway that she didn't specifically say. It was a bit irksome, to be honest. He liked knowing what people were thinking and feeling around him. It made it easier on him personally. He could read what was going on with most PAM members with just a look or their tone. Sam was becoming a bit more secretive as of late, but he knew the man would come around eventually. "Reality is all there is," he replied with his own shrug. He wasn't going to bend on his view. He didn't feel that living with blinders actually works for anyone. They just ignored what was in front of them, missing opportunity and people - both the good and the bad. Sometimes the bad can be just as much a learning experience and good for someone in the long run as the good. Through the bad Evan had learned that it was survival of the fittest and he wasn't going down without a fight. "Cautious is good. Cautious will help someone not get hurt and prevent someone was taking advantage of you."
