Nicodemus could barely register Lavender's distress, but he made sure his eyes were now on her. He wanted to manipulate her, for her to be pulled in. She couldn't like seeing her husband in this pain, screaming and struggling against the restrains. He didn't let up; Nicodemus just kept screaming and fighting, trying to hold on.
As Octavius continued, he felt the end almost immediately. The urge that was trying to pull him from the body become unable. He screamed one last long, blood curdling scream as he felt himself yanked from the body and into darkness.
Malachi felt something change. His body was in so much pain. He went to bring his hand up to his head since it was pounding only to realize that he couldn't and he was restrained. The pain was unbearable and his eyes closed as he groaned, trying to figure out where he was. Something wasn't right. Something was wrong.
