Lavender cringed hearing and seeing Malachi in pain, that she had inflicted on him. It wasn’t him though she had to keep telling herself. Fighting the urge to help him, she rolled off the bed and getting up onto her feet. She grabbed her housecoat hanging off the door as she rushed past it then into the hallway. She flung it on as she ran towards the stairs. Her thoughts were blurry as the panic set in. What was she suppose to do now? Nicodemus was now holding her husband captive, like a prisoner. Obviously she didn’t know how to properly exorcise a demon and needed help now or she was dead. She needed Octavius. He knew the demon well now. It was just being able to get a message to him with a demon after her that was the problem.
