Cormac felt uneasy all the sudden at the man's reaction. That was not the Octavius he knew, and he didn't even know the man well. The man was quirky and fun, not throwing sneers and dirty looks their way. Or coming up to Lavender and whispering in her ear like he knew her intimately. On reflex, Cormac tightened his arm around her and shot Octavius a glare in return, a glare that clearly said not to touch at least.
