Mandy now felt sick to her stomach. The smirk wasn't Octavius' normal expression. Her hand came up to cover her mouth as she kept edging away as he kept coming closer. Why wasn't he listening to her? "I shouldn't have to," she said, her voice weak and soft. "Just, please, step back."
When he said her name she felt something wrong with it. She had no idea what, but something was just wrong. It wasn't like Octavius normally acted. Octavius was nice, sweet, and polite. Octavius was someone she looked up to, viewed as a mentor. Octavius wasn't someone who cornered her and would make her feel uncomfortable and seem to actually enjoy it. "What?" she whispered, "What do you want from me?"
