Teagan blinked at him. "Yes, when it comes to you," she repeated with a nod. "You know, I might not be the most experienced, but I've dated guys and been around guys that I've been attracted to. But I've never been so conflicted like with you. I've never been so damned tempted by someone, John. You are like my personal temptation."
Balancing on one hand, she reached up and brushed back some of John's hair from his fair. Her own hair fell over her shoulders, nearly swinging in John's face. "You're not making me uncomfortable. I am making me uncomfortable. I want nothing more than to lay in this bed with you, but then my mind goes elsewhere that is really not appropriate for a friend. Let alone a friend who is sick. Even if I wanted to, you're not in my mood or anything for anything." She smiled a little at him, fondly.
