Teagan nodded, frowning. "Yeah, I guess so," she said softly. She didn't like hearing that, but understood. She couldn't think of a way for anyone to get pain medicine from a doctor like he said. Being a werewolf wasn't something one could just tell someone. Even in this world, it might get him locked away until the full moon proves he were being honest. What would they do then? Kill him? Her heart twisted at the thought and unconsciously her arm tightened him around him as a response.
She followed her to the bed, keeping her hands out in case he stumbled or fell and needed her to be there to catch him. Reaching down to try to cover him up, she looked at down at him with a concerned expression. "I'll be here until it does then," she promised, the words just tumbling from her mouth.
