Reluctantly, Teagan moved away, removing her hand when he agreed. Part of her wish he'd hesitated a bit more, but if he was feeling that bad, then she'd oblige him willingly. She hate him a regretful look that she couldn't hide before she stood up completely and collected the bowls. Taking them to the kitchen, she dropped them out and then, taking more time than she'd intended, she washed the dishes and put them over to dry.
Once she was done, she walked back out to John in the living room. "It's all cleaned up," she announced with a smile. "Ready?"
