Teagan smiled when he placated her. She knew that's exactly what he was doing since he'd already warned her he wouldn't have much of an appetite tonight. The idea of him not eating just bothered her for some reason, maybe because it was a sign that he truly didn't feel good. She set her bowl of ice cream down and scooted closer, resting her head on the back of the couch beside his shoulder without touching. "It's not much, I know, but you're welcome," she said honestly. "You can stop eating now at any time. Two bites is enough for me."
