"I'll humor you and leave it at genius," she said with a grin. Astoria didn't know what else she'd say, just that 'genius' didn't quite fit.
Astoria laughed. "Oh, I definitely celebrated." It had been a fun weekend. "But thank you again for the gift," she said sincerely. As unnecessary as it was, she did appreciate the sentiment. And it was pretty, simple. Astoria had no complaints. She was very aware of the way his fingers moved against her skin. She wasn't sure how much longer she could stand his touch. Why couldn't he just slide his hand up her arm and pull her forward for a kiss? Merlin, when had she become so weak? His teasing words didn't really help her either. Astoria bit her lip hard, stopping herself from saying what was on her mind, and took a deep breath. "Then I suppose you'll just have to drag me to a Quidditch game." She smiled at Cormac. It was the best she could do without being inappropriate. He seemed to be able to bring out that side of her easily enough. "That is probably for the best," she replied with a laugh.
