Astoria laughed at the smirk. It just seemed so him even though she didn't really know him well enough to say. "Genius?" she asked, shaking her head with a teasing grin.
The way his fingers danced against her skin was driving her mad. She wanted more substantial contact. She wanted to touch him in return but she didn't move. Astoria's eyebrows shot up at the insinuation. She wasn't sure what to say. He seemed so sure of himself. Perhaps if they became friends, yes, but this seemed slightly more complicated than that. "You did a fine job this year. On such short notice, too," she replied, smiling widely. She glanced down at her wrist again. "I'm sure you can use your imagination, Cormac." Her tone contrasted her deceptively innocent expression. There was a subtle suggestion that she wasn't sure he'd even pick up on. "So far there's no next time unless you give me a good reason," she teased. Astoria very much hoped that he didn't to wish him any ill.
