Astoria wondered what he really thought of her. Sure, angelic was not the way to describe her but she was curious to know what was, in his opinion. "Should I even dare to ask what impression I give you?" she said with apprehensive laughter. She didn't want it to be something negative, not that she expected him to admit anything like that aloud. "There's not need for flattery, you know," she said, only half teasing. She gave him a small, amused smile. He complimented her more than she probably deserved.
She shook her head slowly, grinning. "Unless you're interested in typical female things, as you'd say, I don't think it's anything you'd want to hear." Astoria was positive he wouldn't. She was shallow and materialistic and she'd never particularly been ashamed of that but she didn't want Cormac to think of her as he did of other women in general. It wouldn't stop her from buying fresh flowers all the time or from having more jewelry and shoes than she could count, but they were things she did just for herself. "I respectfully disagree. What kind of person would I be, distracting you from Quidditch?" Astoria replied before laughing at the memory of the fair. She had never expected him to react the way he did that day but she was happy it turned out the way it had. "I'm glad you had your fun. Even if that wasn't my intention at the time."
