Cormac grinned at her. "Well," he said, making a show of looking around. "We can't tell if it's ending or not. In fact, when we go outside, there might be some big catastrophe of the world ending that we've been oblivious at in here." He was teasing, of course. It was amusing to think about. To be honest, even though he acted as though he thought the world revolved around him, he didn't think so actually. Reaching up, he went to touch her hair again, but thought better of it, and ran his hand through his own hair instead, grinning at her. "But I think it's safe to say now we can get along. Just not too much. We have to find other things to disagree on, I think, to keep the balance."
He laughed. "I'd like to see more of your ways," he said without thinking. It wasn't really a secret at this point. In a way, he'd made himself perfectly clear about his interest in her besides not pulling her on his lap or trying for more than a kiss. But it was obvious enough to anyone who was looking. Of course, he wanted her. He smirked, shrugging as if he didn't care if he'd crossed some line with his comment.
