Cormac frowned. He had no idea what to say to that. Was he supposed to be easy to figure out? She certainly wasn't. The only things he could seem to figure out about her was what she told him more or less. Now and then, he did grab onto something, but mainly it was putting things together that she'd already told him herself. It wasn't like she wasn't a mystery to him. There was so many things he'd love to know about her, to figure out about her. Instead, he was left trying to put the puzzle of Astoria together.
He sighed deeply. "I'm just so what? What am I?" he asked, trying to keep all the defense out of his voice. He wasn't trying to go into a defensive mode with her, not now. He blinked and put up his hands, palms out. "Alright, Astoria. Ask me anything you want. Tell me what you want to know, what you're trying to figure out and I'll just tell you." He was being honest. He'd tell her whatever she wanted to know if it would make her feel better.
