Astoria let the subject drop. She was glad he didn't say anything else on the subject. It wasn't a discussion they needed to have and she didn't think it'd be worth the trouble when they were both obviously enjoying themselves.
She shrugged at his thank you. As she saw it, she was simply speaking the truth. "You're welcome, Cormac," she replied, smiling too. The brush of his thumb against her lips made her smile widen. She wanted to kiss him then, but she wouldn't let herself. Instead she settled for a quiet thank you. She was flattered by the compliment but part her still thought he was too good at it, too charming. And Astoria wasn't one of those girls who fell for anything, she didn't want to be. It was just hard to know what she was getting with Cormac. She tilted her head and studied him before giving up and smiling again.
