Cormac grinned in return. "I'll try to change your mind to lengthen that 'little longer'..." he said suggestively, teasingly. He did mean it through. He had no intention of just letting her walk off if he could help it at this point. She interested him. She intrigued him. She was one of the few woman he found who could keep up with him and keep him on toes.
He tilted his head to the side for a moment, thinking. "I think you probably came close at the teashop," he said, his expression morphing into a grin. "But it's actually rather comforting to know you didn't immediately start to plan my death after my horrible first impression." He laughed at her tone. Of course, she'd like it. "It's like a win by default," he said with a grin. "The rules are in your favor so no one else has a chance. Very smart. Very sneaky."
