Astoria grinned. She wouldn't have stayed this long, wouldn't have kissed him if she didn't want to get to know him. She was attracted to him physically, yes, but Astoria also liked Cormac as a person and she was curious about him. "I think I'll stick around a little longer," she finally replied, smiling widely.
She didn't let go of his hand and wasn't planning to just yet. For some reason she didn't want to be the one to break the contact between them again. Astoria had been the one to reach out to him and didn't want to be the one to pull back. She laughed. "I don't think I've ever wished you dead, you know," she said in amusement. "It is unfair and completely for my benefit. I think I like it that way." Her tone was playfully smug. Astoria smiled at Cormac, happy that there was no awkwardness between them after they kissed.
