Astoria couldn't help but smile at the breath he took. It was nice to know that he was affected, that he'd enjoyed it. At least she hoped that was what it meant. Because not only had she liked the kiss, she had liked that it was Cormac there beside her. Suddenly she felt like she was in Hogwarts again, with a silly crush on a silly boy. And she didn't mind it entirely. Not in that moment.
She shivered when he caressed her skin. His touch was soft. She was about to respond to him when he kissed her again, interrupting her train of thought, which had been scattered anyway. The kiss was deeper, more intense and it was somewhat familiar. It reminded her of the fair, but this kiss made her heart beat faster. It wasn't a dare or a challenge. It was new and different -- there was desire. Astoria moved just a tiny bit closer. What she'd give to be even closer. But they were in public, in a restaurant and that would be inappropriate. The thought made Astoria pull back, slowly and reluctantly. She stayed close, unable to help herself. "I keep breaking my rules for you," she whispered to Cormac after taking a deep breath. She looked at him, smiling, and reached up to wipe some lipstick from his mouth. She was sure now more than ever that Cormac was trouble for her.
