Astoria laughed at the smug smile. "You should be proud, not many people even manage that," she teased. She wasn't sure, however, if there was really anything else to figure out about her. As much as she wanted to think she was interesting, the reality was that her life was rather boring.
"Well, I appreciate that," she said honestly. Astoria didn't really want Cormac to think ill of her. And it wasn't simply because she didn't want some random stranger judging her, but because she actually wanted him to like her. "Amazing?" Astoria laughed. "I don't think it's amazing. I'll probably always be 'little Story' to them, which is… terrifying." She rolled her eyes at the thought. As much as she enjoyed the perks of being the youngest, she also hated being treated like a child the way she still was sometimes.
She shook her head with a smile. He was flattering her again. "The point in haunting you is to make you miserable," she said with a laugh. "You can't feel lucky. That would be unfair to my devious plans," Astoria teased.
