Cormac smiled. "You choose to believe me... Are you implying you think I'm a liar?" he teased.
He laughed, shaking his head in amusement. He tried to mimic his expression from before, raising his eyebrows at her playfully. He snorted. "You're good at holding a grudge? That's... interesting," he said with a smile. "Well, I guess if you want to be technical, it is an awful loophole," he said with a laugh. "You really would haunt me? That's horrible!" He didn't reply to the mention of guilt. He would feel guilty if something happened and it was, in general, his fault. As insufferable as Astoria had been at the beginning, he didn't want any harm to come to her. He looked at her as if he was considering what she said, when he really didn't have to. "I can speak for myself and I think I'm agreeing with you more by the minute."
