Cormac shrugged at her words. He supposed it wouldn't be fun if someone got jealous, but why would they anyway? Considering they would have their favorite too? Being an only child, he barely understood the dynamics between siblings. He gave a chuckle at her next statement. "Well, being an only child has its perks too."
He returned her smile and didn't force it. But he couldn't help but say, "You won't see my disappointed." He left it there, not embellishing in what he meant or didn't mean. He wasn't even sure what he meant anyway. He laughed with her. "Exactly! I mean, who wants the hassle of killing someone? It's better just to leave and tell the person to go to hell. A lot easier, too. And anyway, it'd be kind of funny if I was left stranded somewhere because you just... left." He grinned, imagining it himself. He knew he'd be pissed. Oh, how he'd be pissed. But he didn't know much else, having never had someone really just strand him somewhere or abandon him. It would definitely be an interesting experience he didn't want to have for real.
