Cormac was relieved when Astoria didn't push it. In a way, they were both in the wrong, on the defensive, and on the offensive. It was easier just to let it go and move on.
He smiled at her. "It's sort of funny how we can like both agree and disagree with each other," he said with a small chuckle. He nodded, still smiling a little despite the heavy subject at hand. "Yes, we are. No brothers throwing us off the Eiffel tower."
"Ah, you're speechless," he said with a small laugh. He paused. "You're welcome, though." He didn't say anything to her being lucky as well. It depended on who she asked if she was lucky or not. He was biased and thought that she was lucky. But he still thought he was luckier. She could have blew him off, but she was sitting across from him.
