Cormac blinked, and then he grinned. "I'm far from silly," he said teasingly.
He laughed. "You do like to mock my misfortune," he said, thinking of her amusement over him working the kissing booth. Something about that day had definitely intrigued him about her and it wasn't just that he discovered she was a good kisser, which she was. It was the one she challenged him, he thought. "But at least, it all ends well in the end." He paused. "But if I do have an unfortunate encounter again, I will be sure to let you know so you can laugh at me even if you can tolerate me now."
He nodded. "The night is still young," he agreed, "Who knows what I'll come up with in the meantime?" He looked down at his shirt, then reached up and casually brushed his hand down his chest and smiled at her teasingly. "It would be unfortunate, but you'd be surprise to know I know how to get wine out of my clothes."
