"It must be so difficult being perfect, no?" Astoria grinned. Of course he'd turn it around in his favor. For once she found it endearing rather than irritating. "Anyway, I think it might have been because we don't know what to do with ourselves if we aren't organizing the party." Besides, she couldn't count on anyone else to get all the details perfectly.
Astoria laughed. "But I know a few men who have and they are much better for it," she said, thinking of a few examples. "Though I agree the world is more interesting this way," she added with a nod.
She nodded again. "Just to see if I can," she replied, shrugging although she smiled. Astoria laughed."You're too stubborn for your own good." She thought about taking him up on the challenge. It was tempting but another part of her didn't want to ruin whatever it was they had going then. Astoria raised an eyebrow at his next comment. "Now I can't decide if that's a compliment or not." Astoria smiled and shook her head. She didn't like to think of herself as arrogant, but he was telling her he had a high opinion of her so that was certainly a good thing.
