Teagan watched him sit back down. She was dying to sit next to him again, to lean her head on his shoulder again. But last time it'd started something she hadn't wanted to finish. Thankful for his lack of manners, she smiled. "I'll go see what food you have in your kitchen," she said gratefully as a reason not to sit by him. Walking into the kitchen, she started to take inventory of his groceries. From the other room, on purpose, she called back, "Do you still want me to come by after Easter?"
