Teagan couldn't deny that she was relieved to hear that she was at least making some sense. She always tried to be 'together' and at the moment, she wasn't. John had really only seen her like this one other time when she and Thalia had had that fight. She sighed as she looked at John, a little overwhelmed at the moment with the direct eye contact she'd been trying to avoid since she broke the kiss.
Despite his words, all she wanted to do was kiss him again. And even let things go farther than that. There was no denying what she really wanted, who she really wanted, and he was standing right in front of her. She sighed, knowing that pushing those feelings aside had still ended up with her kissing him and on on his lap anyway. She wasn't good at this.
"I tried to, John," she said, her voice low and hushed. "I tried to push away my feelings, to ignore them, but I never could. I still ended up kissing you, on your lap, wanting more... No matter how hard I tried to ignore them, they are still there and they are growing nearly impossible to ignore anyway." She took a deep breath and looked at him. "I don't really know what to do anymore."
