Teagan smiled when he agreed. She didn't cook herself much and she certainly didn't bake. She really couldn't think of anything else. When he kissed the top of her head, she felt strange. It was a good strange. But she wasn't going to fool herself either. She glanced down, averting her eyes completely for the moment as she stared at her lap. She was giving away too much already tonight. Ruining her friendship with John with some feelings wasn't going to make her happy.
"Then I'll bring over junk food instead. Then it's not so bad if you don't eat," she said softly, keeping her eyes down.
