Lavender didn't like the thought of the demon doing anything dark with Octavius's body. Octavius was still in there and this could all scar him once she got him back. If she did for that matter. It was bad enough that he had kissed her.
She thought about that for moment. Putting a demon inside of Macnair probably wasn't the best idea either. He had a powerful position in the Ministry. Nicodemus could make a real mess out of international relations. And she doubted Macnair would be willing anyways. It felt useless.
She rubbed her hands over her face, frustrated, scared and angry all at once. He was bringing up wanting a soul again. It made her stomach turn. "I don't know, I don't know," she shook her head, dropping her hands. "I'm not giving you my child's soul! No deals!" She snapped, feeling the stress of this situation. She'd agree to give him her soul if she became desperate, but she needed time to come up with a plan to get rid of him first.
