RP: Standing on the frontline when the bombs starts to fall...
Date: February 9, 2001
Chracter: Mandy
Location: cell
Public/Private: Private
Summary: Mandy sits in her cell alone and thinks about why she shouldn't be here and why she was.
Status: Complete
Mandy sat in the corner of the cell, her legs pulled up in front of her and her arms wrapped around her knees. Once the punishment had been handed down there was nothing but simmering in the predictible she was in. It went beyond two months and a week out of work and not being able to afford rent, she was sure. Even even went beyond spending the whole next year of her life on probation. It was worse.
She was a halfblood Class of the Chyssanthemum member who's father was a mother. To say she was actually suspicious in general wasn't a lie. It was easy to say that no one had mentioned the Class so she was free, but was she? She kept to herself, kept quiet, and was polite when she had to speak.
But she cried. She cried a lot. She felt like her whole life was falling apart in this cell and she couldn't do anything to stop it. Maybe her life wasn't special, but it was her life. She hated the feeling. She did need to toughen up, but she doubted she'd find it in here. She just hoped her parents - well, her mother was the only one who could probably - stayed far away from here. She'd fill them in when she got out. She'd just tell them the truth... what else could she knew now? Hopefully, her parents didn't try to make her quit the sanctuary all together after this.
She wasn't sure she could take the rest of the week. But maybe she'd be out of tears by then?
