If Molly wanted to have frustrating verbal battles with an young woman, she would go to her daughter and strike up a conversation about politics. At least in that case, she had some ground to stand on. Demelza was a whole different matter. Molly really didn't hate the child. Demelza hadn't done anything to incite hatred from Molly but she was annoying, a pest, perhaps Molly would even say that Demelza reminded her of Bellatrix but somehow she thought that might be an insult to the dead woman.
