RP: The place where I belong... Date: January 12, 2001 Characters: Malachi & Lavender Public/Public: Private Summary: Lavender and Malachi is moving. Status: Incomplete
Malachi couldn't believe they had actually moved. They'd found a nice cottage tucked away that wasn't too far from London, in the small town of Farningham. He loved it. He knew this was what Lavender wanted, a cottage away from London, a home to call their own that wasn't in the middle of the city. Sometimes when he tought about it thought of bedtime stories about people living in cottages, away from the city, and everything else. The way the stories went they either more dangerous or drastically more boring from a home in the city.
The cottage was slightly worn down in the front, but had it definitely had charm to it. Beautiful and classic. The inside was less worn down. The entryway lead to the spacious living room with a fireplace. The kitchen was definitely larger than he'd expected from the outside. It was big and had plenty of room for the everyone. He already could see the mess that Truth could make just be eating. The master bedroom had a fireplace while the others for the children didn't. The bathroom made him laugh sometimes with the funny looking tub and no shower. It seemed to important to the look of the house and bathroom to remodel and add a shower just for comfort.
He was glad to be out of the city. He still worked in the city every day - besides the time he took off to move - but Lavender said she'd feel better if it was on the country, so that's what they did. They'd made up Truth's room so he had some place to play and be safe while they continued to empty boxes. Their friends that had helped them move had left after they'd gotten food and fed them they disappeared. He was a little upset he didn't really get a chance to stop and talk to any one that'd come for him.
