Summary: Macnair's thinking. That's never a good sign.
Status: Incomplete
Macnair sat at the bar, an ale in front of him. He'd already drank two. It was a good thing he held his liquor well after years of conditioning himself to. A day without alcohol was a day not worth lived in Macnair's opinion. Well, alcohol and other things. But as he looked at his glass, he wasn't thinking his normal things of to find a woman or not. No, he was thinking of "the issue" as he called it in his head.
What was the Minister thinking? If he was outed, would he stop? Would he deny all charges and just... deny? Or would he... Macnair shivered before he finished the thought. Would he confirm it? What would Macnair do if the Minister of Magic, his boss, his god practically, confirmed he was seeing a vampire? Some little cretin that to the werewolf, who was a stinking dog, actually said smelled like a rotting corpse? What could he possibly see in the thing? It was a thing! It was a disgusting thing that preyed on wizards and witches as well as muggles! They wanted anyone - or anything - that had blood! It was vile. And it was almost clear it was male. Was his god... was he? No, no. He couldn't be that. He couldn't be a cocksucker.
His stomach turned for a moment, making him take gulps of his ale to quiet it. How could this happen? What could he do stop it or at least contain it? Lavender had gotten such a joy out of what he'd done, maybe he should send it into the Daily Prophet? But he had no proof! Molly and his idea of telling Ismene better work. Someone had to get a handle on the issue, and unless he told everyone, Macnair had no idea how.
All he wanted was to hear the Minister of Magic, his god, deny it all. Make Fenrir a liar, but at least that would mean the Minister was fucking a male vampire!
