Percy clucked his tongue at Oliver's rather simplistic approach to his feelings regarding art. If only it were that simple - but no, these artists expected people to explore their feelings about their parents and the worthlessness of modern existence, etc etc etc. Navel-gazing nonsense.
He rolled his eyes again at Oliver's observation. "I swear," he remarked, though there was no real heat in his tone, "you are the only person I know who could look at a beautiful Dutch landscape and say you'd like to play Quidditch on it. Honestly, Oliver."
His eye-rolling changed to a slightly more appreciative look when Oliver showed some understanding of the difficulty involved. "That's why it's so incredible," he said, moving on to the next picture. "Wait until we get to the portraiture - you'd swear some of them were Muggle photographs, they look so realistic. The talent some of these painters displayed is perfectly astonishing."
