Malachi was going to move her hand way, determined to do it himself, before he realized she'd done it. "I could have. I really could have. I'm not too drunk," he whispered, not wanting her to think she'd have to do all the work tonight. This was their one and only wedding night, and he wanted to make her happy. The dress was beautiful and part of him could be haphazard and nearly rip it off her, but it was her wedding dress and he was sure she'd kill him after. "I'm not stuck with you. I just get to have you for the rest of my life," he said, as he leaned away to allow her to finishing unbuttoning his shirt. While he leaned back, he reached up and slowly slid the little straps from her shoulder, letting them fall off her shoulder. He assumed with the dress unzipped and straps off she could gently step out of the dress. Not that he knew much about dresses. "Was the ceremony what you wanted? Did it make you happy? Are we married? Because maybe I'm a little too much of a... guy but other than being afraid of the big snake biting my head off, it was something we'll always remember. And hey, our friends will too." He winked at her.
