"I'm..." Tracey became quiet, contemplating on whether she should just tell him or wait yet again. A part of her just wanted to, but it was though as if she herself didn't want to think it was real - that if she said it out loud, it would make it all the more true.
Tracey pulled away from him and walked over to the fireplace, looking at the flames as though hoping to find a calm there. But there still wasn't. She felt so bottled up.
"Theo's gone," Tracey finally said, voice barely above a whisper, a confused look on her face as though she couldn't believe she was saying that.
