Tracey was conflicted. She wasn't sure how to feel or what to do. In fact, she was still trying to absorb the idea, to make sense of what happened - to make sense of Theo's empty apartment and a little note written in Dutch. She almost thought he had gotten kidnapped by his pretty Danish boy, but she thankfully could translate some of the words. And as she read 'nemend een onderbreking' and 'geniet van vrijheid', Tracey knew he voluntarily left without a return date in mind.
It was hard to think about especially as her mother gushed about their wedding. It didn't help that said mother found out about Lavender's wedding, and gushed more about wedding plans.
She needed to make sense of it, and she only had go to person for that. She normally would just go to Zach directly, but Tracey felt as though he would be biased. Something told her Zach had been waiting for Theo to disappear for a while.
So she procrastinated going to him, owling him and letting him know that she was going to see him the day before, trying to figure out a way to tell him. And as the day came, she still couldn't figure out what to tell Zach that she actually apparated out of his porch, paused for a few minutes, before finally knocking on his door for once.
