RP - The only thing that comes without effort is old age Date: November 9th, 2000 Characters: Molly Weasley and Gellert Grindlewald Location: Magical London Public/Private: Private Warning: None Summary: Mrs. Weasley and the Prime Minister interact after work hours. You know they say people are different outside of work. Is that true for the Minister? Status: incomplete
With one case solved, there were usually two or three more in its wake that needed attention. This was the nature of being a part of the department of Magical Law Enforcement. She was happy to have that vile vampire case solved but it didn’t lessen any of her current stress. She had two children who were potentially blood traitors…well one for certain, one bordering. And one child that she knew that if he ever found out would turn them in right quick out of a sense of duty. Ismene had dropped a rather big and annoying clue on her desk last month containing what were now being identified as heads of beheaded squibs that had been found, a case that had gone cold long ago. This wouldn’t be such a problem if not for the fact that the damn things had this habit of chattering nonstop.
Of course the crux of her stress right now was the Bellatrix Lestrange Murder. She hadn’t partially liked the woman but she didn’t want her dead either. She had decided she would rather keep this investigation between her and Maddox. It would just be safer that way; safer for them. She really didn’t want to have to explain any possible connections any other Auror found between snow white and the head of the department and the head of the Aurors. She would seek justice for Bella. She owed that much to the woman as a wizard citizen and- as reluctantly as Molly was willing to admit-a woman who had the wizarding community’s best intentions at heart. Molly wasn’t sure now what was going to happen with the faction that she had molded into her own.
As the lift arrived Molly stepped into it, followed by a few late night memos that were flying about towards their destination. It was late and not many people left in the Ministry but there was always a few over achieving souls that liked to go above and beyond. Molly understood that need, she had been one of those people at a time but the years had worn her down.
She leaned her back against the wall and let out a small sigh, closing her eyes for a moment. She wondered briefly is Percy was one of those left behind and if she should go up to his department and drag him out.
