Summary: Sam takes a walk out in Muggle London stopping perilously close to a certain tavern that leads into the magical world

Coming out of Foyles Bookshop, Sam walked with his plastic bag filled with books down Charring Cross Road. Really the books in the bag weren’t what he brought him to Foyles. They would be interesting reads for sure but the reason that he had really, truly come was that he had been told that his special order had arrived. Perhaps it was a little obvious to get illegal books through a book store but perhaps just maybe it was so obvious that no one would think to look there because of that very fact. And if anyone stopped him and wanted to know what he was carrying, they wouldn’t find the book in there. That was safely tucked in the waist band of his jeans, wrapped in brown paper.
As he walked though, he just couldn’t help himself and stopping, he pulled the small brown book out of his pants and ripped open the wrapping to reveal the cover for The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli. He had heard of the book, heard that it was sort of a tongue and cheek but he figured it would give him some insight into Gellert’s way of thinking. And the more insight, the better he could write his anti-propaganda and hit more close to home for the Magical minister.
