Teagan didn't mind walking so far, but didn't have the stamina as John and was slowly the farther they went, bit by bit. She wasn't winded when they got the restaurant and were seated, she was wondering how about 8 blocks was 'not very far'. She swore they could have rode the train more, but didn't say anything. She wasn't lazy, but she hadn't been expecting that walk from his words.
It was a nice restaurant. A little nicer than she'd even expected. "Nice place," she commented as they sat down. Picking up the menu, she glanced over at it, noticing the prices and immediately wanting to change the plans. From what she knew John worked at a bar, which meant he probably made less than she did, and she couldn't afford these prices. "Oh. Okay," she said, not wanting to damper the night. He was being nice. She wouldn't argue. As she scanned the menu, she settled on her meal.
