I Know What You Did Last Weekend Date: October 26th, 2000, morning Characters: Tracey and Lavender Location: Ministry of Magic Public/Private: Private Warning: N/A Summary: Lavender stood Tracey up for their Saturday tea date and Tracey demands an answer even though she already has an idea why. Status: Incomplete
Tracey walked up the familiar path to Molly Weasley's office without the intention of meeting with the Head of Department. Her reasons for being here on a Tuesday morning - when she was supposed to be on her desk writing up reports of her recent activities in France - was to see a certain blonde that she was supposed to see Saturday morning. Only said blonde didn't show up, and didn't even bother to let her know that she wasn't going to.
Tracey would have been frustrated, appalled, and whatever else negative emotion she could name. After all, their civility was new and Lavender standing her up for tea should have destroyed it easily.
But it didn't.
Tracey walked on, with a paper clutched tightly in hand, the same paper she had in hand the morning she was supposed to meet Lavender. Said paper had the picture of said blonde in a situation that Tracey had easily seen beyond the surface.
"Fancy seeing you here. I was going to ask if you wanted to get a cup of tea with me, but I don't like being forgotten," Tracey said, tone not at all sarcastic, but almost casual, as though it was something to greet Lavender with, before she would release the hold she had on the paper in her hand.
