Evan was always excited for his dates with Lavender. They’d spent about three months seeing each other, and he had grown quite fond of Lavender. She was an interesting, if not a bit quirky, girl. She was also completely willing and wanted him, liked being with him. They enjoyed their time together they stole after whatever activity they had planned. Sure, they still snuck around, not wanting their relationship to be found out by her father, but he still summed it up to her wanting to hide it from her father. The girl couldn’t help it if she wasn’t allowed to date, and he enjoyed her more than enough to do things discreetly. It made it more fun, made it adventurous and exciting.
Tonight they had just grabbed a bite to eat and then watched a movie. Well, they actually make out through the movie, but they had paid for tickets. Now they were headed out to find somewhere private to be, to have some time just the two of them. Dates with Lavender were easy, comfortable, making him wonder what they were going to do he went off to university and she went off the that bordering school her parents sent her to. As they left the cinema, he reached over and grabbed her hand, pulling her gently to his side. Then he dropped her hand once they were close, their arms brushing each other’s as they walked. “Where to tonight? The park? You seem to like the park?” he suggested, leaving out any suggestion from his voice.
