The Prequels. CHARACTERS: Zap, Professor X. TOPIC: Oh hey! DATE & TIME: Saturday, December 1st, 2001 @ 8:45am. LOCATION: Xavier's Institute, Sub-Basement Sauna. RATING: M.
The early-risers were long gone, and everyone was out doing shopping or whatever else they wanted to do on their holiday weekend. Zap was lounging. That's right, she was having a layabout. And she'd had a swim, too. The sub-basements were all but abandoned. While she laid there, staring into the fish tank as she dried off from her laps, she pulled loose the sides of her bikini bottom, and sighed contentedly. The aquarium was mesmerizing; enough to but the non-sleeper into a sort of trance.
"How deep is your love, how deep is your love..." she started, then smirked at herself and her song pun, "I really need to knooow..." The electrokine was starting to think she was right in not going with Warren to his parents' estate over the long weekend. Things were always tense. This was... not. "'Cause we're living in a world of fools..." she went on with the melody, humming it as she took in the sea life of the salt water tank, then jerked her head to the side when she heard the doorknob click from (slightly) behind her.
"Professor..." she half-greeted, half-gasped. She remained still, unwilling to look guilty of anything, despite her suit's disheveled state. Every muscle in her back, though, was tensed and ready for her to spring up and excuse herself. His shirt was gone. Why was his shirt gone? He was in his own sauna, that's why. "I was just about to rinse off," she breathed, "then you can have it." The Cuban girl smiled and swallowed, reaching for her water bottle so that her mouth was doing anything other than continuing to talk.
