The tone of his voice made Izzy nervous. But she followed him through the doors and into the lobby, stopping just short as another family walked out, right next to her, so uncomfortably close that their luggage ran right over Izzy's feet. In her surprise, she felt nothing. Not the wheels as they rolled over or what should have been a complete stop with the hindrance. Instead, they kept going, laughing quietly to themselves about some joke they'd been told on the way out.
She chewed on a her thumbnail as she stared, wide-eyed, into the lobby. And then Izzy flickered for a second before completely disappearing.
