"What's it like living in a house with a whole bunch of dudes?" Max asked cheerfully. "I ended up in an apartment with a friend, but a frat wasn't my thing when I got to school. I bet it's lots of fun. I think I read online that you have to learn the whole Greek alphabet. Did you? Is it party central the way they show it is on tv?" He paused for a breath and then returned to the question Jer had posed to him before the other boy could answer his multitude of questions.
"Nah. It was just me today. I'm sure the others are somewhere, but I didn't come out with them, so. Maybe they're inside already! I bet they figured out how to get our room open. We got stuck in the hotel yesterday, you know?" He mimed pushing the buttons of the elevator. "Every time we pushed a button, it didn't work. And then someone else would push it and boom. No problem. Oh, and we couldn't get the doors to work for the stairs either. I'm thinking we need new room keys or something. Maybe there are special magnets for room keys? But anyway, they probably figured out how to get in. I would love a quick shower before we catch up with Cassidy."
