Jeremiah just...stared at Max for a moment. The other guy was so calm, so chill about this. Jer didn't know how to be chill. He just wanted people to hear him, and for doors to work. He wasn't ready to accept that this was just some twisted awful dream. He shrugged off the thought for the time being, and shook his head.
"Okay. So we wait," he said, but he wasn't happy at the thought. His jaw was clenched. Jer abandoned the bellhop, even though he was the person who eventually set off the door sensors. For obvious reasons, Jer was quick to move inside. "I'm still going to try talking to people. I need answers. You coming?"
